101 Games with RingPong!
RingPong Soccer!
RingPong Soccer is played 360° around the ring, with teams able to score through either side. A goal through the ring is worth 1 point, or 2 points if kicked from 20 feet or more (marked with the included cones. A bonus point is awarded if a teammate cleanly stops the ball after it passes through the ring. Players advance the ball using soccer rules—feet, chest, head, knees, but no hands—and play continues freely around the ring. After each score, the opposing team restarts from outside the 20-foot line, and the game ends when a set score or time limit is reached, with the highest score winning.

RingPong Touch / Flag Football!
RingPong Touch/Flag Football is played 360° around the ring, where teams score by passing or running the ball and throwing it through the ring. A score through the ring counts for 1 point, or 2 points if thrown from 20 feet or more. Players advance the ball by passing or running, but are stopped when touched with two hands (touch) or when their flag is pulled (flag). Possession changes on turnovers, dropped passes, or when a team fails to score within four downs. After each score, the opposing team restarts from outside the 20-foot arc, and the game continues until the set score or time limit is reached.
RingPong Quidditch!
RingPong Quidditch is played with three rings set at different heights, placed in a row or circle, and teams score by throwing or kicking the ball through any ring. A regular goal through a ring is worth 1 point, or 2 points if made from 20 feet or more. Players may advance the ball by running, passing, or dribbling (depending on whether you play soccer-style or handball-style), but defenders stop plays with touch or flag rules. After a score, the opposing team restarts from outside the 20-foot arc, and play continues around all three rings. The game ends when a set score or time limit is reached, with the highest score winning.

Galaxy War!
Perfect for Elementary School Gym. RingPong Rings are the "Space Ship Energy Cores" and rest on a series of floor mats which are the "Space Ship". "Crew members" (players) cannot leave their mats. Each Space Ship is separated by gym floor—"Outer Space". Only players on scooters ("Drones") can go on the gym floor to collect dodgeballs to bring back to the Space Ship. Players throw dodgeballs from their mats through the opposing team's rings. The first team to throw through 3 rings (or any set number) is the winner! Or, play for fun with no winners and losers—every time a ball goes through the ring, that team has to do 5 jumping jacks!
Lord of the Rings!
Teams cannot cross onto the other team's side. Lots of soft throw balls are scattered around the play space. Each side has a RingPong Ring inside a circle that no one can go inside. The objective is to throw balls through the opponent’s ring! In action, this is similar to dodgeball, except the target is an object rather than a person. Players can block balls flying toward their ring! Play to points or by time!
Jurassic Ball!
Play with a lowered 2–4 foot RingPong Ring and soft playballs plus a variety of "Dinosaurs" for kids to role-play as!
-
T-Rex: cannot use hands, feet only.
-
Brontosaurus: two kids loosely connected at wrists or ankles—can’t separate!
-
Velociraptor: can only use hands but cannot throw; can only hand off the playballs.
Blindfold Ball!
Played with soft throwballs and RingPong Rings. Everyone is blindfolded except a caller on each team who can see and shout instructions! The ball-carrier must always yell "throwing!" before throwing so no one gets hit in the face (safety first!).
RingPong Golf!
Similar to disc golf, but with RingPong Rings as the targets instead of baskets.
Human Foosball!
Players can only move in lanes, like foosball players! One player per team is free from the lanes and can chase down loose discs.
Hands… and Feet?!
Play with soft playballs and allow players to score with their hands or feet like in soccer! The ball cannot be picked up from the ground—it must always be popped up with the foot.
Spy!
Play with soft throwballs. Perfect for overnight camp! Play in the dark with flashlights and glow-in-the-dark materials—always play safe and with proper supervision.
Red Light Green Light!
RingPong, but the athletes can only move when the ref shouts “green light!” (or when the music is playing for a fun variation). Players must freeze when “red light!” is called!
Bonus Point Circles!
Classic RingPong with markings on the ground that give bonus points if scored from special zones.
Gang Up on the Goalie!
This might require lowering the target. Play with soft throwballs, and have a goalie defend from inside the circle while everyone else tries to throw through the ring! A fun, high-energy fitness drill.
Blob-Tag RingPong!
Played with an offense and a defense. The offense tries to score by throwing through the ring, but every time an offensive player is tagged within the defense’s boundary, they join “The Blob”—kids connected at the elbows!
Lots o’ Teams!
Two teams is boring! Why not 3 teams? Why not 4! Spice up almost any RingPong game-type by tossing in extra teams for more chaos and fun.
Around We Go!
The disc must pass to every player on a team before a shot attempt is allowed. Great for teamwork and communication.
Maze RingPong!
Perfect for elementary school gyms. Build a “maze” using gym mats stood on edge, then play Classic RingPong inside the maze for a fun twist.
Forest RingPong!
Great for camps and camping! Play Classic RingPong in the forest using trees as natural cover. Always with safe, supervised play only.
Sphere-RingPong!
It’s Classic RingPong, but instead of a flat disc, you play with a sphere-disc (aka a ball!).
Flag RingPong!
Classic RingPong, but with football flags. Players can run with the disc, but if your flag gets pulled, it’s a turnover!
Space Knight RingPong!
You’ve got RingPong Rings and foam noodles—time to play! Players block shots with pool noodles, and if the ball-carrier is hit with a noodle, it’s a turnover. Get creative with the rules and storylines!
RingPong Lacrosse!
Play lacrosse with RingPong Rings as the goals. Use lacrosse sticks and balls, and score by sailing the ball cleanly through the ring. A fast-paced crossover game that works great for school gyms and team practices.
Trampoline RingPong!
Set up RingPong at a trampoline park (with proper, safe supervision). Players bounce, jump, and launch throws through the ring for maximum energy. Fun, wild, and unforgettable!
Parkour RingPong!
For advanced athletes only—RingPong meets parkour! Set up the ring in a course with obstacles, platforms, and walls. Players must navigate the course creatively before attempting their throws. Serious skill required; pros only!
Zombie RingPong!
The offense tries to score by throwing through the ring, but every time they are tagged by a defender, they become a zombie. Zombies can only shamble—no running! How many points can the offense score before the zombies consume everyone?
Zone RingPong!
Classic RingPong, but athletes cannot leave their marked zones. Each player is confined to a specific area, which forces teamwork, passing, and communication. Great as a training drill.
RingPong Hockey Lacrosse!
Serious and safe supervision required. Imagine lacrosse… on skates! Players move on roller or ice skates, playing with lacrosse sticks and scoring through RingPong Rings as the goals. Fast, intense, and best for older athletes.
Twinning RingPong!
Everyone is tied (loosely and safely) to a buddy at the wrist or ankle. Teams must work together in pairs to move, pass, and score through the ring. Requires serious teamwork and communication—perfect for building cooperation skills.
Sumo Suit RingPong!
Inflatable sumo suits + RingPong = total chaos! Players must maneuver, throw, and block while wearing bulky sumo suits. Hilarious, fun, and an instant crowd-pleaser.

Relay Race!
Form a line and take shots through the ring! Which team can score the most in a set time limit or with a set number of throws? A fast, competitive drill that doubles as a workout.
Pool Noodle Defenders!
Grab a partner on opposite ends of the ring and pass the disc back and forth through the ring, while a defender inside the ring-circle tries to block every shot using only a foam pool noodle.
Warball!
Divide the gym or field into four quadrants, with a RingPong Ring in each corner. Players must stay in their assigned quadrants. Flood the play space with dodgeballs—score by throwing through the other teams’ targets!
Scooter Polo!
Classic RingPong, but played while riding on gym scooters. Adds speed, chaos, and tons of laughs.
Horse!
Same rules as basketball HORSE, but instead of a hoop you use a RingPong Ring. Call your shots and prove your trick-shot skills.
RingPong Hockey!
Play with a lowered 2–4 foot RingPong Ring as the goal. It’s roller (or ice) hockey with a ball and rings! Always play with proper safety and supervision.
RingPong Skeet Shoot!
Players take turns throwing through the ring, while others try to knock the balls or discs out of the air with dodgeballs. Players should always be positioned opposite each other so throws can be safely caught.
Wizards Unite!
A fantasy version of RingPong with wizards, spells, and creativity. If a wizard hits the ball-carrier with a dodgeball, they can “cast a spell”—like freezing them in place for 10 seconds, or forcing them to hop on one leg until the next point.
Super Heroes!
Play RingPong with a superhero theme! Heroes must work together to destroy the villain’s energy ring by throwing through it. Different heroes can have special powers:
-
Pool noodles as melee weapons
-
Dodgeballs to “freeze” opponents
-
A “jail circle” where heroes must free their captured teammates
-
Creative abilities invented on the fly!
Ring Blast!
Offense vs. defense. A giant 20-foot-radius circle surrounds the RingPong Ring. Offense must stay outside, defense can go inside. Scatter dodgeballs across the field—anyone hit must sit until their tagger is also taken out. How many times can the offense score before time runs out?
Freeze-Tag RingPong!
Two sides, each with a RingPong Ring and a jail circle. One disc is in play. If a player is tagged on the opponent’s side, they go to the jail until freed by a teammate. Freed players get a safe walk back to their side.
Solo RingPong!
Set the ring against a wall and see how long you can rally by yourself. A great solo workout drill.
Monster-Ball!
A fantasy-themed version of RingPong (similar to Super Heroes) where players act as monsters with unique powers. Use dodgeballs, pool noodles, freeze-tags, or jail circles. Play with two halves of a field or with one central RingPong Ring.
Goalie-Ball!
Each target circle has a dodgeball-wielding goalie and a helper who feeds balls to the goalie’s container. When hit by a dodgeball, players can be sent to a jail circle, forced to sit until the next point, or follow house rules.
Rotation RingPong!
Every time the ball passes through the ring, players must rotate positions. Keeps the game dynamic and forces everyone to practice multiple roles.
All-Terrain RingPong!
Grass, sand, water—RingPong doesn’t need boundaries. Set up anywhere for an outdoor challenge! Perfect for summer camps. Always ensure safe, supervised play.
Batter Up!
Baseball with a twist: earn bonus points when the ball is hit or thrown through a RingPong Ring!
RingPong Craft!
A creative building twist: before the match, players use gym mats, cones, or other equipment to build mazes and barriers around their targets. Then play Classic RingPong within the structures. Perfect for gyms and imaginative camps.
The Floor is Lava!
RingPong, but don’t step on the gym mats—they’re lava! One player per team is the Lava Monster, who can retrieve the disc if it lands on a mat.
Cool Frogs!
Tie everyone’s feet together so they can only hop. A hilarious game and a serious workout at the same time!
Halloween RingPong!
Each team has a Witch riding a pool noodle. If the Witch tags someone on their side, that player must go to Halloween World (a marked jail) until a teammate frees them.
Animal Ball!
Classic RingPong with a zoo twist. Each team has:
-
A Zoo Keeper, who can catch players and send them to the Zoo (marked off with cones). The Zoo Keeper may only walk.
-
A Zoo full of players acting as animals with special movements: Frogs can only hop, Seals scoot on scooters, Elephants are two kids tied together, Crabs crab-walk, etc. Get creative!
Multi-Ring RingPong!
Why settle for one ring? Add multiple RingPong Rings per team for maximum scoring action.
It’s a Numbers Game!
Assign every player on each team a number. Players can only join when their number is called. Perfect for huge groups and rotating players in a fun way!
Ga-Ga RingPong!
Play Classic RingPong with a lowered 2–4 ft ring and an 8" playground ball. The ball must roll on the ground (no gripping, only swats). To shoot, swat the ball off the ground through the ring.
Undercover Ball!
One player on each team is secretly designated as Undercover, playing for the opposite side. At the end, each team guesses who was Undercover. Guess correctly, and the opposing team loses points!
Ninjas vs. Samurais!
Best played at night with safe supervision and cover like trees or buildings. The Ninjas (offense) use throwing discs as stars, aiming to score through the ring placed in moonlight. The Samurais (defense) use small flashlights to spot Ninjas by name, forcing them to retreat and try again.
Send in the Marines!
Classic RingPong with Nerf guns! If you’re hit on the opponent’s side, you go to a jail area until rescued. Works best with offense vs. defense and set defensive zones.
Super Jump Bros!
Scatter dodgeballs everywhere. Instead of throwing at players, roll them like turtle shells so opponents must jump to avoid them—while still trying to score through the ring.
RingPong with a Goalie!
Lower the ring to 2–4 ft, use a soft foam ball or disc, and add a goalie in the target circle. All other rules are Classic RingPong.
Ninja Goalie RingPong!
Same as RingPong with a Goalie, but the ring stays standard height and the goalie uses a foam noodle “sword” to block shots.

Water RingPong!
Yes—RingPong can be played in the water! Always with safe, proper lifeguard supervision, especially for younger players.

-
Giants: only walk with big strides but score by tagging the disc-carrier.
-
Wizards: cast silly spells with a touch (run backward, hop on one foot, etc.).
-
Knights: wield foam noodle swords.
-
Dragons: throw dodgeball “fireballs.”
Bonus: build castles with gym mats!

Backyard RingPong!
Every backyard is different—embrace the trees, bushes, and obstacles! Turn them into features of your home-field RingPong game.

Offense vs. defense. Scatter small dodgeballs as “ducks” across the play area. The offense scores by throwing them through the ring. The defense defends by shooting the ducks out of the sky with other dodgeballs.
Sprinkler RingPong!
Sprinklers make everything more fun—especially on a hot summer day! Add a sprinkler to your RingPong field for wet, refreshing gameplay. Just remember to play safe—it gets slippery out there!
Slip & Slide RingPong!
What’s a summer RingPong field without a slip & slide running through it? Fast, hilarious, and the ultimate way to cool off while playing.
RingPong Volleyball!
Play RingPong using volleyball-style hits. Use your palms only to pass and spike the ball through the ring.

Classic RingPong, but players can’t move until the referee calls out a number. Each player may only take that number of steps before freezing again. A strategic, slowed-down version of the game.

A battle version of RingPong: one team wields foam noodle “swords” (the Ninjas), while the other has dodgeballs (the Marines). Tagged players go to jail until freed!
Skyball!
Classic RingPong, but with the ring raised to 6 feet for an extra challenge.

A silly variation of RingPong where only one player per team is allowed to move their feet. Everyone else must stay planted, passing, catching, and shooting without moving.
Giant RingPong!
Great for adaptive fitness or a unique twist—play RingPong with oversized equipment. Bigger discs, bigger paddles, bigger balls!
Stay on the Lines!
Classic RingPong, but players can only move along marked lines on the court. One “super-powered” player per team can chase stray balls anywhere.
Kickball RingPong!
Divide into two sides, fill the field with kickballs, and score by kicking them through the opposing team’s ring.
Skate Park RingPong!
For advanced players only—play RingPong in a skate park using boards or skates. Use the ramps, pools, and jumps to make epic trick shots. Serious skill required!

Caterpillar Ball!
In this version of RingPong, teammates are connected at the elbow like a giant caterpillar. Movement, passing, and scoring require serious coordination.
King of the Castle!
One team defends, one attacks. The defense can throw dodgeballs at the offense inside a 30-foot radius circle around the ring. The twist: one offensive player is the King. If the King scores, it’s worth 5 points—but if the King is taken out, the round ends immediately and sides switch.
Ring Tennis!
Play regular tennis—but earn bonus points for hitting the ball through the RingPong Ring.
Bump Ball!
Swap the disc for a soccer ball. The ball can be moved with any part of the body except open hands—hands must always be fists!
RingPong Basketball!
Everything is basketball (dribbling, passing, teamwork), but instead of hoops, score by throwing the basketball through the RingPong Ring. Played 360° around the target!
Monkey in the Middle RingPong!
At least three players required. Like classic monkey in the middle, but the Monkey guards the ring while players on the outside try to score through it. If the Monkey catches the disc or ball, they switch roles with the shooter.
Hide & Seek RingPong!
One player is the Seeker, while everyone else hides. Only one hidden player has the disc. Can the offense sneak a score through the ring before the Seeker spots them? Best with lots of cover or obstacles.
Crab Ball!
The most grueling version of RingPong—players must crab walk everywhere! Arms and legs burning guaranteed.
Playground RingPong!
Play Classic RingPong, but players may only move along playground equipment. Fun and creative—always with safe supervision.
